We welcome members of any age or ability (subject to capacity within the various groups)
We have around 11 teams regularly playing matches during the Winter and Summer Canterbury league. Some enthusiastic members also play in the Kent league and / or other leagues around Kent, such as Ashford, Thanet. Dover etc.
The club will always support you in your development. Most of the coaching / development is done on Sunday afternoons. However, if you have played and want to brush up on your game our practice sessions may also be suitable.
We also welcome group sessions which would be supervised by a club member. Feel free to contact the club Secretary for hall bookings/more information. We have 3 tables available and can supply bats and balls for the session.
On most Sunday afternoons we have an ex table tennis coach that helps develop (coach) people of any age, gender and disability that would like to be shown how to play table tennis.
There is robot and net available so as to enable players to practice their serves, basic ball coordination and the correct arm and hand strokes to return the ball.
We have open practice sessions, but Friday & Sunday evenings tend to be players of any age that have played basic table tennis. Tuesday afternoons can accommodate new players of any age that can hit a table tennis ball, as we have helped a few develop into league players
